Prefill Answer Checkbox
"Prefill Answers" come from the 'information sheet' about the respondent It has items like name, birth date, employer name, etc., information that has been collected in previous interviews. Using "prefill answer" means the designer does not have to repeat the same question(s) over in order to use the answer in the current survey.
For example,
"Are you still working for the Ohio State University?"
"The Ohio State University" was found in the infomation sheet data and gets displayed in the question text by using a symbol substitution like:
"Are you still working for {infosheet_prev_employer}?
The prefill checkbox has two states:
- If checked, the substitution will be prefilled in the question text.
- If not checked, the substitution will not be prefilled in the question text.
